it's been a while

i was surfing the net a couple of months ago and all of a sudden, i thought "oh yeah! i have a blogspot! why dont i check it!"
to my dismay, i realized that i couldnt remember my password.
today, i was looking through all the apps on my iphone, and i came across one that was called "Keeper" that holds all the passwords to various websites i go on. i noticed that my blogspot password was in there, so i typed it in and viola it worked!
so i reread all of my old blogs and realized, man i haven't written a blog in a long time. what should i write about now?

all of my previous blogs have been about my writing, so let me start off by saying that i am completely and totally BLOCKED in every way. i haven't written a thing in MONTHS. that's gotta be a world record for me. normally i'm blocked for a month at the very most. but it's been at least three of four months so far, and nothing has been able to flow out of my brain in the form of a story.

normally when i write, i have to be in the mood for it. and it seems as though i've been in the mood for it this whole time, just dying to type something up, craving that feeling when i've written something successful. however, it seems that i can't really come up with anything interesting. truthfully, i guess i haven't exactly been thinking about what type of story i'd like to write.

so far, all i can come up with is that i want to write about a young man who is down-to-earth and cool, yet the entire world around him is high-strung and everything that happens to him is incredibly ironic. i want to write something funny, so that even when horrible things happen to this guy, you can't help but laugh at the pure irony. thing is, i can't seem to think of anything interesting that would happen. i can't seem to come up with the right circumstances for this man to face. it seems like everything that i want to write about has already been covered by some other writer.

anyway, it's not like anyone ACTUALLY reads these blogs. i mean, who would? i guess i'm just sending this random blog into the air for whoever really wants to read it.
